House Repeals Class Act Despite 72 Aging and Disability Organization Opposition

On January 31, 72 national aging and disability organizations stated opposition to repeal of theCLASS Act (long term services and supports insurance program). The letter is available for download: PDF. On February 2, the House of Representatives voted 267-159 to repeal the program.
