This project primarily provides nationwide support services to the network of Protection and Advocacy (P&A) and Client Assistance Program attorneys and advocates who are working on AT advocacy issues. (Support services are also provided to Legal Services and Legal Aid programs and to attorneys in the private bar if they are working on AT-related issues.)  The project serves as a clearinghouse for information and documents that will support the work of AT advocates, provides technical assistance to callers from P&A and other offices, publishes a newsletter, the AT Advocate, to inform readers about the funding criteria which governs programs like Medicaid and special education and to inform readers about developments, and delivers training and organizes training events to improve the skills of AT advocates.
