Format             Project

NADD has developed the Environmental Health Project to advance awareness about the exposure of toxic agents in the environment, since exposure to toxic agents in the environment may contribute to developmental, neurological, and mental health problems.  NADD provides professionals, caregivers, family members, and the general public with relevant information concerning toxic agents and their effects on human development and works with other organizations and individuals to promote policies that are aimed at reducing and eliminating exposure to environmental hazards.  To assist in this endeavor, NADD has established an Environmental Health Committee and developed a position statement on environmental health.
