The American Association on Health and Disability collaborates with numerous non profit organizations, state health departments, universities, non profit organizations and private corporations. AAHD staff serve as Chair of the Friends of the NCBDDD and Chair of the Friends Advocacy Coalition. AAHD staff serve on the Executive Committee of the American Public Health Association Disability Section and on the SAMHSA “10 x 10 National Steering Committee on Wellness,” the NQF MAP work group on person dually eligible for Medicare and Medicaid, and on the NACCHO National Disability Workgroup. AAHD staff also Co-Chair the Consortium for Citizens with Disabilities Prevention Task Force.
