Medicare Will Cover “Maintaining” Therapy As Well as “Improving” Therapy
On October 26, the National Senior Citizens Law Center (NSCLC) shared a federal district court settlement between CMS (Centers for Medicare and Medicaid), Center for Medicare Advocacy, and Vermont Legal Aid recognizing Medicare payment for “maintaining” functioning in addition to the existing focus on “improving” functioning.
