Court Rejects Closing Segregated Adult Homes for Persons with Mental Illness
On April 6, the Wall Street Journal and New York Times reported that a judge “vacated” a previous court ruling to transfer persons with mental illness from segregated adult homes. A technicality of “standing” was the grounds for the ruling. The Bazelon Center on Mental Health Law statement is here.
